Explosive tracks like "Volcano For Hire" with a Peter Erskine who is that volcano erupting in one of the baddest funk drum grooves ever on record, "Current Affairs" and the ten minute + "NYC" all help one realize how much Joe Zawinul took musically from his time with Miles. Zawinul, Wayne, Erskine and Jaco do a superlative job with a strong, solid musical score.
