• Reef are probably one of the more underrated bands to come out of the Britpop craze. Inspired by the Rolling Stones, the Black Crowes, and maybe even a bit of Aerosmith and Alice In Chains, the band wrote excellent songs with singer Gary Stringer shouting his lungs out with a moderate amount of subtlety.

• Together, The Best Of... contains all the bands greatest hits, most notably "Naked", their 1995 breakthrough single that was famously featured in a widespread TV commercial for Sony's MiniDisc. The collection also features the mainstays "Place Your Hands" and "Consideration", as well as some songs that were never featured on any of their albums such Mickey Newbury's "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)".
