• He was a touring guitarist for Pink Floyd (‘Animals’ and ‘The Wall’), recorded two magnificent albums with Thin Lizzy (‘Chinatown’ and ‘Renegade’), and subsequently landed his first, unforgettable solo hit with ‘Bird of Paradise’.

• In addition to long-term engagements as a touring guitarist for Roger Waters, he also played on albums by Peter Green, Jim Capaldi, Phil Lynott (solo) and Linda Lewis, among others.
