• KLON sees their music as a breath of fresh air, an ode to freedom, a flower breaking through concrete.
• It was in their home, a living space and a true creative laboratory, that their first album, "KLONBUSTER," was born. Composed completely independently, using vintage instruments (a Roland TR-808 here, a Juno synth there), in a constant search for emotion. It was only once the various demos were ready that KLON, determined to defy musical dogma, sought to confront other opinions, whether at the legendary Motorbass studio, the cradle of French Touch, or through the visions of Randy Merril and Alex Gopherl, tasked with mastering the album, to give depth to these new genre tracks, based on the energy of live performance but determined to speak as much to the feet as to the head.
• Clearly, ideas are flowing, reflecting the contagious enthusiasm of this close-knit family, its seductive spontaneity, its inclusive tendencies, its hostility towards routine, all perceptible when listening to the eleven tracks on this debut album.
• Far from the "good vibes" pop of their first EP (Nouveau Genre, released in 2021), KLON, driven by the same collective spirit, opts with this debut album, "KLONBUSTER," for a raw, more edgy sound, never truly satiated with innovative ideas and liberating escapes into dense, hybrid formats, sometimes inherited from rock, other times from rap, but perpetually effective.
