• God Dethroned - Blackened Death Metal band from the Netherlands.

• Henri Sattler created God Dethroned in 1991 along with three friends. "The Christhunt", their debut full length was released right after their anonymous demo. After the release, however, Henri decided to disband to form another band.

• God Dethroned was reborn in 1996 with completely new members. Now lead by a more experienced Henri Sattler, the band focused into developing their classic-influenced technical death metal.
