Front-gentleman Mark Reilly’s smooth vocals set the tone, while the beats blend influences from across the Caribbean and South America with organic Lounge and Club sounds. The album features a lineup of stellar talent, a.o. Brazilian guitar virtuoso, and Verve-recording artist Ricardo Silveira, as well as Venezuelan singer Lino G Rocha bring authentic Latin flair, while London’s vocal Soul-Queen Betty Black (Keb Darge, Snowboy, Bluey) and renowned saxophonist Dave O’Higgins contribute their own distinctive styles.
