Founded by Vasquez and keyboard player Dave Gryder, the pair has previously joined forces with number of players, including Derek St. Holmes from Ted Nugent's band. However, Blood of the Sun 2018 is stronger than ever before featuring vocalist Sean Vargas, who joined the band shortly after their previous album Burning on the Wings of Desire.
